Why should he save for an awesome amp when he's learning?. You never know he could just give up and might of wasted like £500+ for an amp. Might as well just get a stock amp like Orange or the Fender ones. Well, yeah true. If you're give up, I wouldn't bother buying one at all to be honest.

It's the one Tyler has (the blue one). It's a very good starter guitar.

I was thinking of getting it, either in white or the last one (dunno how to describe the colour), click the image to see.
Kane, or anyone else for that matter, if I do get that, I'll obviously need an amp. So could you look for a decent and affordable one?

Oh, and the last colour is called "Sunburst".

Yeh trust me it is a very reliable guitar, perfect for just starting out as the strings are low down to the fretboard and are easy to play. As with amps I dont know how much youre willing to spend, but in my experience (as I have one of the more expensive models, the MG 30) the Marshall MG series is quite good, and the lower priced versions are really good quality. www.speedmusic.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_marshall_mg_series01.html(I know speed music arent really trustworthy with prices but just to give you the general idea).

That seems a good price for a Marshall Amp (as I know they are quality amps). Any other recommendations/things I need to buy with the guitar and amp? I don't know alot about this so any information is good.

I don't know alot about this so any information is good. A strap (any, mine was like £3 I think, and it's plain black), you might want plectrums, a spare pack of guitar strings (buy Ernie Balls). That's all I can think of right now. Oh, and the cable that links up the guitar to the amp. You can get 'em for about £3 too. I'm giving up, good luck to the rest of you. How come? Your solos ruled!

I really need to sort everything out, year 11 is going to be totally different. I just wanna do the best I can, some of you may say yeah but picking up a guitar for 10 minutes won't kill you. I just don't need it right now, I have other things on my mind.

I think it would be cool if you didnt give up, but I would understand your reasoning if you did.
