This is an exact copy of a tutorial but I can remeber it from head so......... And i will provide my own pics. Let us begin: Open up a new document with these settings:  Zoom up close to the document (1600%) Grab your pencil tool (1px) and make a square in the middle.  Now go Edit>Define Pattern Now open up your document you want to add the pattern too:  Add a new layer and use these fill settings:  Now go Layer>Add Layer Mask>Hide AllUse your gradient tool (default) and drag acorss ur document, experiment till your happy. I just did it in 5 minutes, it was ONLY an EXAMPLE. I couldn't find anything to add the dots too.
