First one:
If I'm correct they are Crash's brushes? The same ones you usually use? Not a bad signature, the same as alot of your new work though. So nothing new for you.
Second one:
Pretty plain, and the patterns aren't blended enough. The white line around the render isn't really blended either. The text is really good though.
Both good though, you just don't really do anything drastically different anymore man. I'll give you a few tutorial links on MSN that can help you learn new techniques.

I'm gonna have to be blunt with this one, I just don't like it.
The image is very hard to see, I don't see how it represents Silent Hill and the colour is boring. Not to your usual standard mate.

I see your point, and I understand. It was somthing quick I did this morning, I thought it was like silent hill due to the oddness of the pic, but I think i c*cked up a bit.
I have another pic to associate with Silent Hill, which i'll manipulate later on.
