yea mgs for me too, i really dont like splinter cell it isn't my thing and mgs is one of my fav games.

meh, i think it will dissapoint, mgs just dosnt seem right online, and if it does, it may hurt the story

yeah but it's just a trial for mgs 4 and i think it wil work, cause they are keeping the aspects of the game in it not just completely new things

Is ther eany word on when online, what happens? Is it a death match, story with extra help, team death matches?

Its deathmatch or snake vs guards mode, i don't know the details but 1 (or more, who knows) player is snake and he must sneak around an area avoiding or disposing of human controled guards. Guards automaticly become distracted by porn, nice tidbit there.

and there is alos meant to be a 1 on 1 like snake v.s the end with actual people whcih would rule
