I think it will be like Metal Gear Solid 2, the military/urban area. Hopefully no junge (or less jungle). it was good, but not as good as MGS2 style.

Kojima'll probably surprise us again, and it isn't a launch title so we're gonna have to wait. I didn't care so much with MGS 3 cause i wasn't into it then. But now, a proper sequal to MGS2. I CAN'T WAIT. One of the reasons to get ps3

Fanatic is right, this is one of the main reasons to get the PS3. I think MGS is generally better than GTA. The PS3 will also have to defend itself against Halo 3, as Bill Gates said
"Halo is being put back to come out in time for the PS3, so Sony will have some direct competition."
Or something like that. But MGS4 will sell like hotcakes.

i think it shoudl take palce on a space station and turn into a 3rd person beat um up and have snake as a whipping boy..........id like to seee how much it would sell then

yeah that would be very ... good and then we could have raiden sleeping with enemy , which is ocelot, then getting beating the shit into by snake and ocelot and snake joining forces and going to find the boss' grave, then ocelot cries out loud , snake gets pissed and shoots ocelot and they live happpily ever after

Do you guys know the story about why Snake kills Big Boss? About how after the whole MGS3 thing he thought he was used by the goverment so he became some infamous mercenary on some island (I'm going by odd bits of information I know about the older games). He encounters Snake many times but eventually Snake kills him etc.
I wonder if we actually hear about Big Boss' parentage in MGS4?

Basically in the first metal gear big boss is the leader of fox hound and he sends snake into zanzibar land (i think thats the first not sure) to get terroists blah blah blah and eventully finds out big boss was behind it all blah blah blah thinks he kills him he dosnt and then he kills him the 2nd metal gear. |

Its explained in mgs1/twin snakes that big boss told snake he was his dad and asked him 2 kill him.
Big boss wasn't evil apparently, but the world didn't need soldiers anymore and he wanted to feel truly alive so he tried to create global unrest so people like him would be needed again.
John Fielding Times 3 if you ask me (joining ww1)
Big Boss asked snake to kill him because he couldn't bear to live in a world where he wasn't needed.
