Officials said that over here it'll start at about £199, no use arguin about prices tho. The release date will answer that.

PS3 is going the way the xbox did, sony for some reason is trying to turn it into a super computer....why?!? the xbox tried that and it didnt get ahead of the ps2. Xbox 360 has a great chance of stealing the lead from the evil sony, revolution could but ninty hasnt even sent out the damn dev kits yet and what about the controllers? havnt even been finalised yet.

But by all accounts PS3 is going to win, it all depends if the hardware is easy to develop on, xbox 360 is suppose to be a dream to work on. Plus 360 has lots of jap developers on thier side this time around.

I like the prospect of the new improoved Xbox live, with the online marketplace and things. But apparently Sony is gonna improove its flawed online aswell and hopefully bring more people into it.

Xbox games look really good (check out The Outfit by Volition) the graphics don't seem to pear up to the PS3 but i was slightly dissapointed to learn that the killzone trailer was pre rendered. Hopefully the graphics will still be quite good.

When the Xbox 360 comes out i'll get it for christmas and buy some Xbox classics aswell, eg halo and halo 2

i think the xbox design is better but the ps3 will have much more preformance power

Also the built in Router that was suppose to be in the PS3 has now been axed and you will most probably have to buy it on its own.

Ken Kutaragi the guy who owns sony said this about the ps3 and i quote.

'Im aware that with all these technologize, the ps3 cant be offered at a price thats targetted towards households. I think everyone can still buy it if they want to, im not going to reveal its price today, im only going to say that it will be expensive'

Oh joy? not quite also dev kits are suppose to be scarce at the mo and im betting that the launch is gonna be pretty crappy cause most of the devs aint getting the kits till around decmebr time and it takes at least a year of devlepment so its gonna be a sucky launch i think.
