I've recently started playing this game again (wierd, i do it every summer) and I think its quite good, but its bound to get boring after some time. New expansion looks good, for once they get cars.

Sims has always been a good play for a long time, stop playing for a long time and start it back up.
Good games, i enjoy them.

My sister has the Sims 2..I think you play the Sims if you're incredibely bored and that's it, in my case anyhway.

I have a lot of the first Sims and had Sims 2 but it crashed my PC and stopped working  I'll probably get Sims 2 for Xbox when it comes, but I think it was a revolutionary game at it's time. |

i used to love the first one then hated it then got back into it , but then the sims 2 came out and i wanted to get it so much but realised it wouldn't run on my computer so i just went off the sims and haven't got back into them at all

The sims 2 takes a while to get used to after playing the first one. You can't do everything as quickly and efficianly because you havn't got that top down view. The actual Sims 2 game was balls. The expansion packs add depth to it and make it much better.
I hope theres not a making magic in the works (shudders)

If anyones interested i'm downloadin a free trial of the sims online. It takes 10 hours to install but if you save it to your PC you can do it in segments. (Eg-open the program, install for an hour while doing somthing else, close and start again at a later date.) Sims online looks awesome, only got it for 14 days tho. 8 hours left of install time.

thats weird, i might get back into the sims when i get a new pc, but until then i cant cause my pc wont run them
