 In my opinion, this won't be good for gaming. The functions might be excellent, but it's more of a remote control than a games controller. Opinions? |

Revolution is gonna kill nitendo. End of story. Theyre not using new graphics, so basicly its a rejigged gamecube with a remote instead of the great pad

I think they should retire to the handheld market. Theyre good at it. But sony may kill them in that aswell.

this controller/remote completely sucks, how can you play games like resi and zelda with a sh!t peice of kit like this, bye bye nintendo

Well from people who have actually USED the device they say its very good, even kojima had high praise for it. Nintendo are not dying for along time, they may come out bottom of the consoles next gen aswell but they are far from gone trust me. As far as i know they are not making any heavy losses on there hardware side like Sony and Microsoft.
Keep your options open, don't go dissing stuff only to then praise it and get one. Go multi platform, if you an afford the PS3 that is, which i doubt we will be able to.

Like I said guys, the controller might be very good. But to me, it looks like gaming will be difficult on this thing. Then again, I may have a go and find it's better than all console controllers.

Well before you judge it, you should check out movies and the add on's they are thinking about making. I mean wouldn't it be cool to actually have control of the sword your using and swinging it? Or by using the controller as a gun? I think if Nintendo pull this off, it will bring new life to gaming.
Which is badly needed as all we are getting at the moment is constant sequels and un-original ideas. Infact the only game i can think of that's been different is Fahrenheit. People should really look past the flashy graphics and look to the gameplay. Im quite content with the graphics this gen, there is no need for more upgrades, it won't change the games.
