Seeing as duggan werecked the last topic, i've decided to start another one. I read an Xbox 360 ag yesterday and it enlightened me.
The 360 hard drive is about the size of your fist, and is meant to be portable.
Theres not much difference between the PS3 and Xbox games, at least not right now (Although I think PS3 has far more capability than the Xbox)
On a side not The leader of nintendo said that they were trying to make a console which wouldn't match up to the xbox or ps3 because they wanted to entertain the entire family.
In my opinion since the old head of nintendo left, its started to slide, enough with the peripherals already! we've had enough of your touch screens and remotes, Nintendo is dying.

Nintendo (in my opinion) needs to master the handheld market. They were the only things we could buy, until Sony came on the seen. If they want to succeed, they need to outclass the PSP with new, fresh ideas.

You are joking aren't you? Satoru Iwata has done great things for the company, the only mess up thats taken place under his guidance was all that connectivity stuff. Seriously Nintendo along with Sony are making profits on hardware and Microsoft aren't, simple as that.
Nintendo is a hell of a long way off dying, seriously they could live off their handheld sales alone, also don't knock the controller till you have tried it, it may be great it may be crap, instead of looking at pictures read articles about what it can do.
The 360 looks like it may lead this generation, if Ken Kutaragi isn't joking that he wants people to work more hours to afford the PS3, well i for one ain't gonna spend over 500 quid for this thing, also the 360 seems to have more games that I'm interested in. PS3=MGS wowza that's it who is going to be idiotic enough to buy a PS3 just for that?

I think Nintendo needs to start concentrating on performance more than new invenmtive ways to play games if they want to regain their crown. "Back in the day" they were excellent and I would have loved to own an N64/SNES. But now it dosn't seem as interesting, it seems to be a simple gimmick. (Oh look a touch screen/remote) But as Darkboy said, I won't knock it fully untill I see some launch titles. I just don't see how anyone could possibly play Resi 4 or zelda with a remote.

It'll have GTA, although I'm not a fan, it'll have Pro Evo Soccer and more. So there, you're talking bollocks, no offence. Also, I'm not paying £500 for it either, since it's going to cost about £400 I read on IGN somewhere. |

Well the controller is going to be the best thing ever created for FPS' i tell you now. Actually having full control of where you are shooting by pointing at the screen. Metroid is going to be sweet with it.

That's not ignorance  I purposley left out the fact that Pro Evo comes out on the Playstation before any others. I read that's the case on this one, too. Can't remember where. IGN and GameSpot are the best sites around for game information, so, whatever. |

Actully www.kikizo.com are much better than them, they may not have a flashy site but they are much more reliable. |

Well this is a very structured debate. Anyway, we'll have to cast our full proper opinions on this when they all come out. I'm looking forward to being with these consoles from the beggining and actually being part of the war. As i was too young to remember the GC/PS2/Xbox war last time. I'll be with the 360 and the ps3 from the beggining. I think all these consoles ae going to change the way we look and play games. And I can't wait to get my first 360 and ps3 games.
Last console war wasn't really a war, as PS2 came two years before xbox and GC. Xbox lost out to start with due to its high price, but now it and the ps2 lead the market. The GC has huge potential but few games were released, the only decent ones were the official nintenido ones.

The idea of releasing Halo 3 on the same day as PS3 is so that Sony have to compete with one of the more hyped games of this generation of consoles. So Sony will undoubtfully have lower sales that day. |
