It's pretty much '360's. I'm pretty sure Microsoft would have patented the "dashboard" feature or something.

I'm not talking about the layout, I'm talking about the feature as a whole. Especially with the "PS3 button" in the middle. That's pretty blatant copying.

Yes, but that's a completely different story.
The button, and the idea around it is most likely copyrighted. Thus, Sony is probably breaking the law (they may have worked around it). The PSP's was different because it was a button which said "Home", it wasn't a circular button in the center of the pad.

How the hell are they going to get a law suit copying their own idea. Remember this topic is about the PS3 dashboard, not the "Home" button, I have to admit, the dashboard just screams Sony, there is little copied here. |

I think that whilst the PS3 does "borrow" heavily from microsoft, you cant really blame them because its such a good system. However if they do make a whole achievment/gamerscore then I think their is reason for all this badmouthing.
