I hope I picked something everyone likes...most of them aren't to my tase.
Anyway, on that list who is best...and why?
I'm going to go for Dream Theater. I prefer listening to Gorillaz but DT are just plain amazing. They all play their instruments incredibely well, work as a team, and just sound so damn good.

For me, it's between the Chili's and Metallica. I'm quite into Metallica lately, but I think Chili's steal it. Can't Stop is just amazing.

Their song Fortune Faded is really really good, but some of the songs on By The Way are just really emotional and sort of moving, Greatest Hits lumps all the best ones together while Blood Sugar Sex Magik takes the more in your face approach. Brilliant band yes, but I believe Dream Theater have alot more skill. Red Hot Chili Peppers are easier to listen to though.

This is the hardest poll i have ever seen, The heavy riffs of Metallica but yet the ripping solos of Dream Theater.
I'm gonna have to stick to Metallica but don't forget Dream Theater are pretty close.
