Probably the next pedal I buy, as I love fuzz. I might just save for a Fuzz Factory though, and put my next guitar through that, that'd be awesome.

If you haven't, learn all of 'Teen Spirit, it's a pretty simple song with a nice easy solo. It's the first song I learnt, anyway.

Aye, I thought so. And, they're not a "main" brand. That's what's one of my pet-peaves now (not a huge one, but yeah), people who just have the same set-up OVER and OVER again. Don't get me wrong, I've done it, I'm just another one with a Les Paul/Marshall combination. How many artists play Gibson guitars through Marshalls? Have Mesa Boogies? Play Fenders and Ibanez'?
That's why brands like Hagstrom, Schecter, Eastwood, Ovation, Maton, Ampeg are all awesome, because hardly anyone plays their stuff. Like, a handful of pros per make I mentioned play their guitars.

I suppose a lot of people (including myself, as I want an Ibanez) are attracted to the larger brands because they're known to be reliable. But, I can see your point.

imo, you can't really get a decent guitar for more than about £150.

I agree, if you're talking about brand names/pick-ups, wood types etc. And if you want a guitar brand new. You can often get lucky on eBay and get Fenders and Gibsons quite cheap.

Although, you could buy a sh*t guitar for a small amount of money, then buy pick-ups etc. and get them fitted over the years or whatever.

Aye. Pick-ups basically make your guitar sounds a) Nice, or b) Shit. So in theory, you could get something for free, then spend £149.99 on getting better pick-ups.
