Although, tbh, it would probably be cheaper to just buy a guitar with decent pick-ups in it straight off. As I think for like, a pair of EMGs it costs something like £200.

Yeah, true.
One of those Schlecter things comes with EMG pick-ups, and I've seen those go/start quite cheap on eBay, so I might eventually get one of those bastards.

That'd be ace.
Seymour Duncans are really nice too, fair bit cheaper than EMGs aswell.

Yeah, the other colour comes with Seymour's.
If you get a black one, you get EMG's and gold hardware. If you get a white one you get Seymour Duncan's and chrome hardware.

I'd personally go for the black one, for the EMGs.

Oh, and Phoebe, get like a 15-watt amp to start with, in can be a Marshall or whatever, as you don't want to buy a f**king stack or whatever and then be like "I prefer piano".

We have like a hugemongous stack of crud in the shed, it's a bit slashed but that just makes it hardcord I'm on the cruddy one that came with the play guitar with fender LOLZ kit thingy, but I won't play anything but the semi and that's got not wiring left.=]]

If you're using one of those sh*tty amps that comes with the guitars, then you should probably turn the bass up to make it sound half decent, maybe play on your neck pick-up too. As the one I've got sounds like complete sh*t otherwise. Although I just use my Line-6 and Marshall now

I was looking at the Schecter again, with all the EMG pick-ups and stuff, and if I got one of those, I'd buy ****ter pick-ups and get those installed
