I doubt anything is gonna happen this year. Bands have 2/3 year gaps in which they tour and write a new record. And seeing as they done Lullabies to Paralyze last year... and Josh Homme's girlfriend had a baby this year.

Please excuse my aggresive reply before, in an interview with NME[/u][/url] Homme said they are writing new stuff in the studio right now. But he is still tangled up with Eagles of Death Metal at the moment aswell, so could be late 2006/early 2007 a new record could appear. He also wouldn't reveal the line-up for the next album when asked. Could Grohl be making another appearance? So a new album is confirmed. |

Apparently (I read this, but it's probably untrue), that Grohl did his last performance for Queens of the Stone Age in Japan back in 2003 or something. Although things change, of course.
