But then again, it's all technique. Like tapping, once you can tap, you can tap. If I learnt to scale the fret board, then I could do that.

Rhys, check out some of this guys other videos that he's got up, he is really talented.
He did some shredding on a bass guitar which is cool.

Yeah, I saw them. The bass one is quite good. I'd like to know if he can actually play SONGS though, not just shred for 10 minutes.
