I've never seen it but, what is it about? Obviously people being lost, but what storylines are there. Everyone I know say it's fantastic.

The storyline is huge as each individual character has flashbacks and memories etc. etc. so I'll just explain the basic idea.
During a flight the plain messes up and crash lands on an island.
Download a few episodes and see what you think, it downloads very quickly, you could just download Part 1 of Episode 1 and you'd understand a bit of it.
