Well, I saw the final part of the trilogy today, and I have to say it was a mixed gift.
The first half was rather boring, just story details, flashbacks, stuff like that, a number of loved characters disapeared in frankly boring ways, apart from one. But the action kicked in almost exactly as the first hour finished.
The fight scenes were superb, the pacing brilliant and the set peices awsome. The effects were also astoundingly good, e.g, a little magneto bending involving the Golden Gate Bridge.
I recommend you see this, its a fun film to waste your afternoon on, but definatly not a huge blockbuster hit.

Went to see and I'm a bit unsure what to think. The effects and fighting were brilliant but the story completly went off from the comic book.
when more people have seen it then i guess we can talk about spoilers and stuff, but not now.

I think it went off cause they had to knock the saga on the head, although they did leave it open for a sequel at the end.

Hugh Jackman and the producer are both willing to make a Wolverine film, all the script and whatever are done, all they need is a publisher (like Sony, Paramount or whatever). My brother saw it today, said it was very good. I plan on seeing the Davinci Code, but if that's full, this'll be my replacement entertainment (that rhymed !).

Not a blockbuster hit, as in not as big as the other Marvel "epics" that have come out, sure the scale is grand. But it just seemed like they wanted to end the series very quickly, by killing off a significant ammount of characters in a very short space of time. If it had been longer then it would have been better. But thats my opinion...
