DOes anyone know how trustable norton antivirus is if you dont download updates? beacuse i think i have a virus, and im not sure how they check for infections. But if they look for abnormalities they should find it, right?

I have Norton and only update every 2 months, it's still very good. But if you think you've got a virus then just update and that scans your hardrive to see if you have an viruses.

Your best bet is to download Spybot Search & Destroy, AVG Free Edition or Ad-aware SE. Never liked Norton, it takes HDD space every scan.
