Woot, got a new computer yesterday, last one blew up. Well, got virused. Haha. Anywho, i just wanted to say, what the hell is with PC world deals? It's £499, for either a 15'' screen and 1gig of RAM, OR a 17'' screen and 514mb of RAM!!! hmm, big screen of big memory.... well gamers want both, so y'know, they suck.

Pheobie, Even though your computer was virussed, If it was enable to come off your HDD why didn't you just do a simple wipe? It would cost less and you can buy parts for less. I can get 1gb ram for about £30..

well, the comp crashes all the time for one. its blummin old and we have the money. Also, the virus basically meant windows noticed i'm not a proper windows system, and it wont load up anymore cos theres no system 32 dll file. i think i can still get the needed files off the RAM, not sure how tho...

Well. All you had to do really was for to run it in DOS mode and type format C: or something like that. OR insert your windows XP disc in the drive and it should start a screen for a wipe.
Anyway, soon enough, im saving money for a 64 Bit Duel Core Processer with a new motherboard and graphics card. Its gunna' be sweet.

Lol pirate copies of windows? Sounds like somebody i know o.O
EDIT: So you tried tapping F8 during startup to bring up safe mode? If you did you could run a system restore, doing this in safemode is always effective and works.

Uhm, safemode doesnt always work. i tried all of the safe modes and they bring up half the coding then get stuck, reeboot and do it all again. FOR HOURS.
