it only blue screens if the modem's doing a lot, but it gives me the virtual memory dump messages and then blames the file ATWPKT2.SYS. i searched for this file and deleted it, but it keeps coming back, it's something to do with AOL modems n crud... =[

AOL are bound to have lots of tech support on this. If all else fails i would just switch to a different company. AOL is the shittest IMO.

Could but then her pc might overheat and blue screen again. Try it though.
Do this.
Right Click My Computer>Click Properties> Click Advanced> Click Settings on Preformance>goto advanced again> Find vitual memory and click change> just change this to about 999 just for now and see what happens.

put it on 1500 and it blue screened again, have now put it on system managed and i'll let you know.
