Mild Nudity

If you found this movie rifling through a bargain bin at the back of Tesco's and you didn't at least consider buying it, you're a nugget. You may be thinking "But the bargain bin was full of crap! If it's so great, why was this here?", well, mainly because of it's age. At the grand ol' age of 5 (released 2001), it's easy to pick it up for under a fiver.
The most noticable thing about the film from the word go, is the cast. Are there bigger names in the film industry than George Clooney? Brad Pitt? Julia Roberts? It's an extremely recognised line up, and are perfectly chosen for the roles.
The basic outline of the plot (as stated above) is that Danny Ocean (Clooney), a released criminal, forms a crew of 10 other members with various skills. Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) who owns three Las Vegas casinos is as ruthless as they come. Ocean's eleven plan on taking these casino's to their knees, with a hefty estimated amount of $150 million if they can pull it off.
The film is actually quite funny in places. This one guy (not sure of his name, but he's the bomb expert) as a full on British accent. He also uses some of the co.ckney rhyming slang, and words like "mate" and "chaps". It's quite comical while in the middle of the US.
The film is directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh, and was given "***** by News of the World" and "**** by Daily Express".
The film is bound to be a classic in a few years, great for a rent, or to own. I'd advise anyone to pick it up for a stocking-filler, or if you see it in that Tesco's bargain bin. I'd give it 8/10.
