Which of these FPS titles are better. Halo (One and Two), or half life (One and Two, plus expansion packs). I'm going for Half life.
Reason- Halo may have a better story, but Half life is technically superior, the set pieces are outstanding and the pacing is awesome.
I may not have played much of halo, but I love half life, its probably my favorite game. if I had to provide a score for each series i'd say.
Halo series- 9.4
Half life series-9.6
For the sake of me not sounding like a fanboy idiot. The first level of Halo 1 is an awesome experience aswell.

I think this is funny, you two are only voting for a certain game because you have played it.
Well I can safely say I've played both...and I'm going to vote Halo.
Half Life is immensely good, but Halo...ahhh I just love it, after reading the books it's so amazing in my mind.

OMFG HALF LIFE!
You think back to when halflife first came out, and god was it ahead of it's time.
And now, it still rocks.
Halo? good for one play, thats about it.
Half life? never get bored of it, its timeless!

Played Half-Life 2 on Xbox and PC. God, it was shite!!!
Boring, slow, rubbish guns, very little action and pants graphics. The first one was even worse.
having said that I've gone off the Halo series, people take it too far, and like Prophecy said, it's good for one play through, after that, it's boring. And yes, I have completed it on Legendary.
