The Last Gen discussion

Well, the next gen is here and is no longer "Next" but "This" Generation. But, as seen the old topic, there is still a big debate over the PS2, Xbox and the Gamecube. Here's the place for this discussion then.


The PS2 had a huge load of games, some crap but it did have some very decent ones such as God of War, Resi 4, Shadow Of the Collosus, ect. The xbox had Halo, Fable, Conker, ect which beat a lot of PS2 games hands down. I think that the Xbox didn't have as many good games as the PS2 but what it did have were quality games. The gamecube had it's moments, super mario, Super Smash Bros... ummmm...ect.

Well, this isn't my choice, you argue for your console.

Dude, i just don't think that the PS2 having more good games than the Xbox is even a conceivable thought. Fable, yeah, and conker, okay, but you miss so many other amazing games that, in my opinion, obliterate every PS2 game. For example, dead or alive? The oddworld series? Ninja gaiden? All of these games are so much better than anything I have ever seen on PS2. As for Halo and Halo 2, well...I probably won't see anything better than them even on the PS3...

Always been an Xboxer, me, and there must be some reason for the fact that I TOTALLY overlooked the PS2...

TBH, I was tired and wrote that in a few secs to just start the topic. I didn't really think about what games there were so I didn't give them a fair list.

I wouldn't say that those games completely destroy every PS2 game though. Each game has it's own story, gameplay, ect, that we can base our arguments on. Sonn i'll do a thing for each game with a reason why it's good, ect. Just can't be bothered at the moment.



BTW, Played new ninja Gaiden on the PS3, it's alright...Quite fun.
