Halo 3 beta test

the halo 3 beta test finally came out for the 360 today and it is fecking awsum i cant wait for halo 3 to come out now the graphics are amazing and so are the new guns and grenades. the maps are pritty cool too.

That is, honestly, a really dull thing to do, in my opinion of course.

I've also played it. It's very good. The beta only has 3 maps but all are pretty cool. The new weapons and old still freaking pwn some ass and that new buggy vehicle is the best thing since shoes. It should be a great game when it actually comes out, which is sooner than i think most people expected.

It's basically Halo 2.5 and the community still sucks. It's too bad the graphics just look like halo 2 but in HD also.

Meh campaign mode is where my interest is at anyways.

no thats were your wrong the graphics are alot better than halo 2 and the community is one of the best ive seen.

Please tell me your joking? In the games I have played the word 'f@g' is thrown around like ball, insults fly through the air like anything, that is not a sign of a good community, more like a bunch of asses at a football game.
Also are you playing on a HDTV? I am and the change in graphics is hardly worth mentioning, it looks as if the textures have been upgraded, so it basically looks smoother and more shiny. While I know good graphics are not everything I expected something more. It will look no where near as good as Gears did.

But once again im in for the single player and story, hopefully the graphics will be better there.

I think it'll look far better than this when it comes out, but apparentlyh they removed all the lighting effects so as not to ditract from the play, so no-ones blinded or the like.

I would like proof of that, it seems odd that a company would just turn off graphical improvements, unless said improvements are really hitting the framerate, plus the games out in September, I highly doubt they can upgrade the graphics that much in a few months, the coding would have to be totally re-done.

Yeah, all the lighting is in there, you can see the glare from your guns and stuff. The graphic are pretty decent.

listen at the end of the day it is only a beta test so wait until the real games comes out before you start bitching about it
